This is a short, close in, loop type hike that starts at the southeast corner of the Saguaro Coop RV Park.  The first half of the hike is identical to the First Fence Hike.  But, at the first junction with an ATV track, hikers can turn right and follow the ATV track instead of continuing on the first fence.  The trail up the the first ATV junction is well used and easy to follow.  The ATV track is also well used and easy to follow.  The ATV track heads back northeast and follows a ridgeline until it drops off the ridge and ends at a split in the ATV trail.  One branch of the split heads northwest back up the wash.  Hikers on Short Loop Hike should bear to right and head down the wash heading northeast.  This minor wash soon joins the major wash.  Again, hikers should bear to the right and continue down the major wash.  But, as the wash splits into minor washes, hikers should keep bearing to the right, choosing minor channels as long as they are "hikeable" and bearing to the right.  Eventually, hikers will see an ATV track leaving on the right and then come up to the Bridge by the Maintenance Shed.  Hikers must crawl under the barbed wire fence that crosses the wash just before the bridge. 

There are no toilet facilities at the trailhead.  The nearest public toilet facilities are in the clubhouse of the Saguaro Coop RV Park.
